In the Community

We at People’s Light prioritize civic engagement with our community. In addition to plays, we produce cultural events and host civic activities on our 7-acre campus. Off-site, we create programs/activities through meaningful partnerships, and participate in a wide range of community events.

Here's what's coming up:
Community Conversation: Being LGBTQ+

Thursday, October 25  |  6pm-7:30pm

West Chester Mayor Dianne Herrin will host a community conversation about being LGBTQ+ before the performance of Such Things as Vampires. This discussion will focus on your concerns and what we can do as a community to uphold our rights to live freely and equally. Admission to the forum is free, but reservations are requested. Discounted tickets to the 7:30pm performance are available for purchase separately, using code: PRIDE25

Giving Shoesday

People's Light is partnering with Cradles to Crayons for a shoe drive throughout the run of Cinderella, and we hope to collect 150 pairs of new or very gently used shoes in time for Giving Tuesday, November 28.
