Reggie Harris (above right) is an innovative guitarist, a fearlessly creative vocalist, and an engaging storyteller whose concert performances are infused with joy. Uniquely committed to "music as a community building vehicle," Reggie’s music shares insightful perspectives on issues of life, history, education and human rights.
Alastair Moock (above left) wears many musical hats. He’s a Boston Music Awards-nominated singer-songwriter; a 2013 Grammy nominee for children’s music; and a well-travelled performer, speaker and educator for all ages. The Boston Globe calls him "one of the town’s best and most adventurous songwriters" and The Washington Post says "every song is a gem."
Together, Reggie and Alastair take audiences through an exploration of history and current events through the lens of race—using the powerful tool of music. Reggie and Alastair rely on their years’ old friendship to discuss complicated issues of race, class, gender and history with intentionality and generosity of spirit. Together in musical conversation, they open up to each other and frame their lived experiences through music (which always helps the medicine go down!)
Tickets are $35 per Family Circle in the grass, with space for up to 4 adults/children + 1 infant.
Please note that attendees might be photographed or filmed for promotional purposes.
KNOW BEFORE YOU GO
The concert will take place on our brand new outdoor stage in The Glen—the green space between the Leonard C. Haas and Steinbright stages, located to your right directly behind the first building on campus. The Glen offers a more intimate experience than a drive-in concert while still allowing for safe social distancing. Perfect for families of all ages!
Each $35 ticket includes a family circle on the grass, which comfortably seats up to 4 adults/children and 1 infant. We recommend bringing sunscreen and hats, as well as a blanket or low lawn chair to sit on if you purchase a family circle. Umbrellas are not permitted, as they obstruct the view for others.
There is ramp access to The Glen, free accessible parking very close to the event location, and an ADA-compliant outdoor portable toilet and wash station.
Coffee, juice boxes, and pastries will be available for purchase from our outdoor concession stand.
In order to gather safely and responsibly, availability is limited and seating is spread out throughout the lawn. We are following all current PA regulations for outdoor events and will update our guidelines if regulations change.
Please check in at the tent when you arrive. There are no physical tickets for this event; you will receive an emailed receipt. In the event of a weather cancellation, a Box Office staff member will be in touch to notify you.
