Long after it won the 1938 Pulitzer Prize for Drama, Our Town remains one of the most popular American plays of all time, reminding audiences across the country that there is beauty in the ordinary. Celebrate love, family, and community with our music-infused production of Wilder's masterwork. Arrive early to enjoy a musical pre-show, beginning 30 minutes before curtain at every performance.
After Thursday evenings, join us for post-show hootenannies—BYOI (bring-your-own-instrument) musical free-for-alls held next door in our Farmhouse pavilion, where you can enjoy beer, wine, coffee, and snacks. Everyone is welcome to hoot, holler, and sing along!
Recommended for ages 10+. Approximate run time is 2 hours and 15 minutes, including a 15-minute intermission.
A perfect summer night out, including beer, food trucks, and live music performed by David Lutken and Lucky Brown (featuring Company Member Susan Mckey). This free event takes place outside the Leonard C. Haas Stage, where you can also catch the 7:30pm performance of Our Town, but theatre tickets are not necessary for Backyard BBQ admission.
RSVP and invite your friends here!

Audio Description headsets provide commentary on the visual aspects of a performance (the set, costumes, and lighting effects, as well as the physical actions and body language of the actors) for our patrons with visual impairments. This supplemental narration interweaves with the real-time, spoken dialogue, so patrons won’t miss a moment of the performance.
In conjunction with this service, the sensory tour offers the opportunity to experience up close and feel certain key props and costume pieces before the performance begins. Typically 45 min before curtain. Interested patrons should register with the Box Office at 610.644.3500.
