Running since 1987, Arts Discovery Performances offer free and discounted tickets to schools in the Greater Philadelphia region. Every year we select student matinee performances to make both curricular and personal connections for student audiences.
If you're interested in one of our student matinees or touring performances for the 24/25 Season, please let us know via THIS FORM and we'll be in touch. Our 23/24 Season student matinees were waitlisted, so don't delay — we don't want anyone to miss out!

The long-running tradition of Panto at People’s Light takes well known stories and injects whimsical twists and surprises, audience participation, and infectious musical joy! This year, escape the pressures of the grown-up world and all its expectations by following the Darling children, Tinkerbell, and Peter on a trip to Neverland – where all things are possible if you believe.

Lorraine Hansberry was only twenty-eight when her landmark play opened on Broadway in 1959, but this American masterpiece continues to inspire and challenge audiences today. Three generations of the Younger family chase different definitions of the American dream, navigating love, hope, and perseverance despite adversity. People’s Light’s own Associate Artistic Director Steve H. Broadnax III brings this story blazingly alive with his signature humanity and warmth.
