Venues

The People's Light & Theatre Company is a non-profit professional theatre in Malvern, PA in the heart of Chester County. We have a resident company of actors, designers, stage managers and artisans who collaborate with invited quests and our full-time staff to create 8 or 9 productions each season. Our seven-acre campus features two black box theatres: the Main Stage and the Steinbright Stage.

The Main Stage, which is part of a beautifully restored 18th-century barn, recently underwent a major lobby renovation. The new two-story lobby has an elevator, an automatic door entrance for wheelchairs and a permanent espresso/cappuccino snack bar. The Main Stage theatre has three sections (center, right, and left), is fifteen rows deep and has 350 seats. The theatre has no obstructed views, and no seat is more than 60 feet from the stage. Seating in the Main Stage is assigned.

The Steinbright Stage is located in the Congdon Building, which is the second building on the People's Light campus. The Steinbright Stage is a truly intimate theatre space with 175 seats. Seating in the Steinbright Stage is always general admission.
